Senior Academy

Overview

The FC Portland U15-U18/19 Senior Competitive Program is for players that are interested in playing at the highest level of club soccer. Players are required to tryout at the beginning of each year and selected players will be placed into our pool system for each age. The Senior Competitive Program will focus on all components of the game: technical, tactical, psychological, & physical. The training sessions are geared towards maximizing the player’s growth & total development of every player with the understanding that this focus will result in successful teams. The goal of the program is to challenge, improve, and advance the level of every player and prepare them for the future on and off the field.

Program Details

- 9 Month Program
- 12 Month Program (8th grade players)
- 2-3 Practices per week
- OYSA 8th Grade/Freshman League 
- OYSA Winter League in January 

- Crossfire Challenge - Seattle Summer Tournament
- Travel tournament in February/March
- State Cup, Presidents Cup or Founders Cup in April-May

- National League Northwest Conference

Cost includes:
- VEO Camera for each age-group
- VEO Player account for creating clips and highlights
- VEO analytics
- Club "player" Blueprint educational learning for Club methodology and style of play
- College Fit-Finder account
- Team tactic & methodology sessions either at FC Portland office or via zoom
- Player Evaluations (self evaluation & coaches evaluation)
- Training fees
- State registration fees
- US Club registration fees
- All league fees
- End of season OYSA Cup competition fees
- Field rental costs including; lights, facilities and equipment
- Administrative services from a professional staff

Cost Does Not Include:
- Required uniforms & training gear

Team Accounts (paid via Team Treasurer):

Each team will have a team account that players will need to deposit money into.
These accounts will help each team cover the following cost:

- Tournament Entry Fees (summer / travel tournaments)
- Team, coach, and manager travel cost to games/ events past Salem

- Travel (flights/gas, food, hotel, rental cars, coach and manager cost, etc.)
