Goalkeeper Academy

Overview

The FC Portland Goalkeeping Academy gives the keepers at our club the opportunity to receive position specific training. Lead by our professional coaching staff, players obtain intense exposure to a formalized training program that prepares them for the challenges that games bring to them at their age-specific level.

FC Portland has always provided a high level of coaching for every keeper. Our Goalkeeping Academy is designed to improve goalkeepers in every aspect of the game. Our objective is to teach young goalkeepers to be efficient in the four pillars of goalkeeping (Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Physical) which are outlined below.
